That it could have been raining
I’ll climb that tree all wet with sap
I was having trouble with my tenses—is, was, will be
Don’t ever tire of being hunted, haunted
Instead of stressed, I lie here charmed
Modern mysticism takes you by the hand
Hold Still (or, where water meets dirt)

I usually touch up photos before a post but not this time. I have not applied any effects or changes other than minimal cropping. I wanted to point out that Portra 400 interpreted all that forest-fire orange sky, we on Vancouver Island saw in early July, as a subdued purple, close to lavender, only sometimes. While other exposures show a high contrast orange wash which is how the sky looked to the eye. These were shot using an Olympus Stylus Epic.
